Just a charming little vintage trinket box made of paper mache in the shape of a turtle and lacquered in gold and black. I love the geometric black patterning against the shiny gold, and how protective the shell/lid feels in relation to the box below, plus those great tiny little eyes of the turtle peering out curiously on either side! Very sweet, and a great little box for stashing something special.
5" long x 3" wide x 2" tall and in great vintage condition.
