I've not seen another like this, made in Austrian c. 1920s I believe, which feels Art Deco/Constructivist /Bauhaus, with the hand-drawn/painted designs on the lid hovering between abstraction and figuration. (I see a sort of Moholy-Nagy radio tower at top, and two kneeling figures that are also pure geometry at lower right). Unusual, and great from the side too, with alternating bands of red and gold.
3 5/8” t x 5 3/4” in diameter. Good condition, with general wear, clean inside. Lid opens easily and fits snug and flush.
