How much nicer to reference this sweet old perpetual calendar with lovingly hand-written inserts than to check the calendar on one's phone? The brass quintessentially art nouveau frame reads Tempus Fugit (time flies) at the bottom center and sits nicely on a desk, and the hand-written two-sided cards--accounting for every month and possibility for how the dates fall--are easily removed, swapped out, and reinserted, allowing one to stay on top of things in wonderfully analog style. I must say I really love this!
II'd guess it dates to the early 20th century and is in very good vintage condition, with some aging to the cardstock and a few spots here and there. I have not touched the brass of the frame; its got a nice warm patina. 5 1/4" tall x 7 7/8" wide x 1 1/4" deep.
