Certainly I've bought and sold a few mechanical acrobats of various sorts, but I've never before seen one whose whole routine centers around standing on and flipping up and over a chair! I presume this white painted cone-headed figure once wore a hat of some sort, but I quite like them as is (what a wonderful face) and with a little playing around one can use the wire handle to raise and swing him (or her) into all sorts of positions, and hold them there. Early 20th century, stamped Made in Norway on the underside.
6 1/2" l x 2 3/8" w at base. Chair is 5 3/4" t. Aside from a missing hat I presume, in very good condition.
