These, because I can never resist a nice old set of wooden blocks, and because I feel like one can never have too many nice old sets of wooden building blocks at one's disposal! Later 19th c. I believe, and large enough to occupy me at least for quite a while! The blocks fit together in two layers in their custom handmade box, perhaps missing one small block but no more than that. I'm really not sure why children should need much more to occupy them that some good blocks like these, some crayons and some paper!
Box measures 7 5/8" x 6 11/16" x 2 3/8" and is in very good shape; lid closes flush and hook is in place, just missing a nail to loop. Blocks are in good shape, with a little spotting to the wood here and there as documented.
