To my eye, this is about as good as it gets, perhaps the tail of that blue squirrel most of all!--and a perfect example of why fraktur style ink and watercolors are such cherished and collected things. On the reverse it is signed by a David Schultz in blue ink and dated 1860--(along with numbers running 1-9 first forwards then backwards)--suggesting perhaps that its maker was in fact David and perhaps that it was made to mark the birth or life of Abraham, though I am not certain of that.
7 1/2" l x 3 1/2" t, with plenty of stains and old fold marks, which I personally think just add to its wonderful character.
