1941 Third Place Brooklyn Concourse Association Homing Pigeon Race Ribbon

Regular price $15.00

Just for fun, and because I have a penchant for all things relating to homing pigeons, such amazing --and handsome!--creatures! Great pigeon button at the bottom of this one, from a 1941 show hosted by the Brooklyn Concourse Association at the Labor Lyceum (founded in 1902 at 949 Willoughby Ave in Bushwick, and early on a popular meeting place for Socialists.)

6 1/8" t x 2" w. Some wrinkling to the ribbon, which I gave a quick iron but could be pressed out better. Otherwise good condition.
