(Forgive my poor photos.) Another one found in Lancaster Country, and very much of the place. I've long been admiring old hand-cut quilting templates but have waited for just the right one to emerge, which to my eye this one is! Cut of pale blue cardboard, even better for its hand-stitched mend, with lovely four sided form and eight point star cut out of the center. Strongly graphic but also very folky and tender feeling, well used and perfectly aged, and very nicely professionally framed against dark blue fabric. Lovely.
10 1/4" x 10 1/4" framed and wired on the back for hanging. Excellent condition.
