I've been watching the series The Bear, in which the phrase "Every Second Counts" plays a central role--which made the "motto" written across the blackboard in this early 20th c. rppc--Make Every Moment Count--feel especially timely. With chalk drawings of a ship and a train at either side of that board, I have to think the business at hand here was one of transport--and would guess most likely this was meeting hall for the Transit Workers Union. I love a photo of an empty stage--all about absence and also potential, and great details and inherent drama embedded in this one. And I really love that ship drawing especially!
5 1/2" x 3 1/2". Very good condition, unused back.
