Gorgeous foliage this week on a drive to Vermont, where I found this gorgeous antique iron leaf, an piece of architectural ornament I believe, which must have part of something pretty spectacular. I love the form, with feathered edges and curled tip, and the wonderfully crusty old paint on it, including gold down the middle. Great as a paperweight, or just a tabletop object, quite beautiful and substantial feeling.
6 7/8" l x 3 1/2" w x 2" t. Good condition, fantastic surface, with aging and some loss to the paint as evident. Heavy and solid, no shedding/flaking to the paint, etc.
