It would be nice if these wonderful watercolors had been done on two separate boards; I go back and forth between which is my favorite, so really think this needs be mounted between two pieces of glass in a floater type frame so as to be be enjoyed both ways. Both charming down to every detail I think, faces to hands to outfits and especially hats! Signed in graphite on one side and dated 1865.
6 5/16" x 4 7/16". Good overall condition with general light wear; small corner loss to the board and a bit of staining there as evident.
