A sweet example of make do innovation, the likes of which I've never seen before--an old heavy tin baking pan turned into divided carrying caddy through the addition of four pieces of wood and some nails. I'd guess used by a handyman (or just a handy man) for hardware, and definitely it was well used, with a few nails added here and there to shore up a few splits in the wood of the handle/divider long ago.
9 5/8" x 5 1/2" x 4 3/8" t. Great old patina, sturdy and sound, with years of use left in it. Found in upstate NY.
