Hugh on Mechanical Horse, Old Cut-in-Half RPPC

This one, and a few to follow, came out of a larger bundle of photos taken in and around Arizona in the early 40s or so (taken over the course of some period of time, rather than over the course of a vacation, say)--with this sidewalk cowboy, noted simply as Hugh on the reverse of this cut-in-half RPPC, appearing in many of them. I like the combination of the way it was framed and the way it was cut, with this empty space to right--feeling a bit like a film still and also rather melancholic (perhaps in part for making me think of Midnight Cowboy, as every out-of-place cowboy always does!)

3 1/2" x 2 13/16". Some toning, general wear,  cut in half as evident. For me part of the appeal is it feeling like a faded memory.
