These two look to have created a world very much their own--and powered by goats! This rppc, and a few other photos listed today, came out of a larger bundle taken in and around Arizona in the early 40s or so. I presume the couple here are homesteaders, with what looks like an expanse of land behind them, and he certainly looks to be cultivating an image of life-in-the-wild self-sufficiency! Another that feels like a film still and a novel and also beyond time.
