It's been a bit since I bought a piece of stone fruit, but this orange won me. I do appreciate bowls filled with a bunch of stone fruits together, but am much more inclined to choose individual pieces I regard as stand alone, specific objects--not ones to throw in with the rest! As is the case with this orange--with a large divet (smush) on one side, that I read as the mark of a soft, on its way to rotting, orange, but which has the added benefit of lending it a stable spot to rest on, such that it will not roll away. As such, it's an excellent one for the desk, or even better for the kitchen counter--which is where I've had it sitting the last few days, and I swear I keep forgetting what it is and instead thinking, "oh, I have an orange." Truly.
2 5/8 x 3 x 2 5/8” t and in very good condition, with a completely realistic rind texture.
