This is one of a few cabinet photos listed today (and a handful more coming) that I purchased on a visit to a picker near Albany last week--each of them great to me for the convergence of specific people in specific places at specific times, and the layers of information, and also sense of atmosphere, captured in those moments. This looks to me like three generations of a family, perhaps extended, to whom this bar belongs, and who in turn belong to it. Feels to me like just the sort of photograph from which a period television drama could--should!--emerge, with the seated matriarch here in fact the one pulling all the strings!
8 1/2" x 6 5/8", good condition, mounted to board cut to edge of photo.
