Beauty on the Fire Escape, Aura Full Old Snapshot Photo

This young woman, and the moment captured here, feel to me as true as it gets. I read her as standing on the fire escape, and imagine it was her beau, or a young man wanting to be, taking the picture from just below. Definitely the person behind the lens was making her feel sexy. And indeed she is, in a wonderfully open and vulnerable sort of way.

4 1/2" x 3 1/16". Much toned, which in this case feels to me exactly right and makes me love the photo all the more. (I do my best getting color close when shooting photos of photos, but trust they are pretty much always better and richer in person than in photos.)
