Few things feel as purely good to me as a big box of unsharpened yellow pencils. Pure potential, and just beautiful things. I really love the c. 1950s graphics on the box holding this near half gross of (mostly) Reliance Pen and Pencil Co. Ravenwood 1080 No. 2 Hexagon pencils, too. The few odd ones mixed in (pictured) are a few Wallace "Swift" No 2 pencils, one Hammett's Kendall, and one Venus Forum No. 3. Some of the Ravenswoods are still held, by the dozen, in their original cardboard sleeves. There's an online seller who has a box of these listed at $250, but that seems lunacy to me.
7 5/8" x 4" x 1 7/8" box. All unused and in great shape. I haven't counted, but photos give a good sense of the fullness of the box.
