Found in Pennsylvania, and scratch made from tin, these painted boat forms with candle holders were I believe were made to float in a pond or lake, illuminated. And how nice it would be to for them to do that again! Pretty sweet though just set on a shelf now, or holding candles in the window or on the table. (They require candles a bit smaller than your average taper.) Lovely forms and great old painted surfaces, creamy white and plum and green.
Each approx 7 5/8" l x 2 3/4" w x 1 7/8" t and in good condition, with general wear and some paint loss, as evident. Earlyish 20th c. I believe. Sold as a pair.
