What a delight to find this old photo this week flipping though the recent additions section of a favorite ephemera dealer in southern Maine. It is a snapshot of a densely packed photo collage done on a scrapbook/photo album page long ago and photographed in situ, hanging by a string and complete with shadow. Details tell the story best, and deliver quite an array of delights!!!! You know I love of a photo of an earlier photo--and ever better a photo of a marvelously charming photo collage!
5" x 4" and in very good condition, early 20th c. snapshot I believe.
