I do not know the origins of this welded iron/steel sculpture of a a man running in space, but I think it is really wonderful. Attached to a flat rectangular base far below him by a thin rod welded to his front foot, he appears to float in the air, running forever in place. His gesture seems effortless and the effect is one of a quiet, calm grace. The rectangular base features a round platform for a candle, or could be used to display another small object to make for an creative pairing. Really a lovely and interesting piece to live with--or a great gift for the runner or Existentialist in your life!
The sculpture measures 16 1/4" tall, approximately 10 inches at longest (from front end of base to tip of extended back leg) and 3 inches across.
