Vase of Bergonia, Beautifully Moody c. 1870s Stereoview

I love early albumen stereoviews that feel super atmospheric, and this is most definitely one of those, and then some. I believe the flowers are bergonia, as described on the series list on reverse, here placed in an excellent and perfectly complementary leaf-patterned vase. Minimal in a great way, with aging to the background (I think glue showing through), which just adds to the ambiance. And mounted on the perfect matte orange card. Lovely.
