A couple more old Froebel Kindergarten paper weavings today, as I never tire of them, and can never get enough--and what a gorgeous field of black crosses against white here! Super graphic and very modernist feeling, and also pretty iconic. Earlyish 20th c. I believe and quite elegantly done, likely by a teacher.
Paper size: 7" x 7". Weaving: 7" x 5". The white strips are not glued down to the paper so drape forward just a bit when stood on end. Ideal would be to frame this with glass flat over top. A few tiny tears, no breaks, good condition.
