Small Inuit Carved Soapstone Head (Pendant)

A small Inuit carved green soapstone head, with a wire loop  at top for wearing as a pendant—and he has a definite protector sort of a feel to me, looking strong and stoic, but with a definite sense of calm and collected, too (and touching the cool, smooth stone has a very calming effect too!) Also good I think set atop, say, an old wooden block,  as pictured—which transforms into a body, or a strong pair of shoulders, with the head set atop it.

1 13/16” t x 1 1/4” w x 5/8” thick not including loop. Very good vintage condition, unsigned.  Better in hand, hard to get proper light on his face.
