I see a fair number of old hat blocks around of various sorts and am not often compelled to buy one, but the wood on this one is really beautiful, and its form satisfying like geometric solid blocks, and then this round patch of orange on the top that really makes it for me. There's an old split down one side, but from the other direction it is perfect and really quite a lovely and satisfying thing.
