A great old set of carnival knock down bottles, shaped like milk bottles and thickly painted in white and red. What I really like about this set, in addition to the terrific surfaces, is that there is one painted cast iron bottle among them (the rest are wooden)--the iron one being the trick bottle, which could never be knocked down! It looks like the bottom of one of the wooden ones once held lead weights as well. Great looking things for display, but also could be used again--frustrating the most assured ball thrower!
Pins range from 7 to 7 3/4" tall, approx 2 7/8" in diameter. The one cast iron pin weighs 8 pounds; the remainder are wood of slightly varying weights. Two are a bit taller with rounded tops, the other three a bit squatter and squarer at the top.
