I love an old plumb just as an object (and they also always make me think of the model of French physicist J. B. L. Foucault's 1851 pendulum in the rotunda of the National Museum of History in Washington DC, which I visited frequently as was fascinated by as a child)--and this to my eye is about as beautiful as they come. Solid brass I believe, beautiful form, great patina, satisfying to hold and to just set, or hang, somewhere.
6 7/8” l x 1” d, weights about 1 lb. Great patina to the brass.
