Painterly, Ethereal Old Snapshot of Young Woman with Sandcastle

I purchased this one and a number of the photos listed today from a wonderful photography collector, scholar and dealer in my neck of the wood, with this one the relative splurge among them. So winsome, and so fine and delicate feeling, with a perfect marriage between the formal qualities of the photograph and its content, as if all on the cusp of being washed away. Just lovely.

4 1/8" x 3 1/8" and in very good condition.  (I do my best getting color close when shooting photos of photos, but my lighting tends to make things a bit pinkish, as is the case here; this one is a perfect sort of pale, soft sand color, very ethereal, much better in person)
