This large, presumed mid-century, boat-shaped Japanese pottery bowl is a study in contrasts, with earthy, almost rocky variegated exterior dramatically contrasting with silky smooth, chocolate-y brown interior glaze. It's especially nice on the table as a serving bowl, but also lovely displayed in silhouette on open shelves. Or use it as a vase for ikebana!
