A wonderful little bud vase, made of porcelain encased in a very finely woven wicker shell. The black patterned banding near the opening and base give this smart little vase an added layer of detail and polish. Really just a lovely little piece, perfect for one pretty bloom. I believe this is Chinese and dates from the 1950s or so.
The vase measures 4 inches tall with a diameter of 2.25". The opening measures 3/4 inches across. It is in near perfect condition, with one tiny flaw, perhaps original to its making, where at the very edge of the lip the wicker seems to have lost its very end.
