I find this unusual square presumably slab-formed bowl super interesting and very lovely, with copper and pink surface decoration on its interior over a reactive creamy glaze. Beautifully crafted, it feels very Asian influenced and a little Art Deco too. I might use it as a serving dish, as it would make a striking addition to a carefully set table, but when not in use I would set it on a credenza or coffee table to admire everyday! On the bottom are triangular slabs in each corner, elevating it a bit from the surface on which it sits.
7 1/4" in diameter and 1 7/8" tall, this piece is signed on the bottom and dated 1978. It is in excellent vintage condition.
