This is the last from a handful of intensely doodled late 19th c. ledger end pages (this one the backside of the front cover) that I purchased this summer at Brimfield: pure visual stream of consciousness delights, revealing more and more the more (and the closer) one looks (and so making this a very good one to frame and hang at eye level just above the desk!) Detail photos tell the story best. I am forever opening books and notebooks in hopes of finding end pages just like this.
13 1/2" x 8" and in good condition, with general smudges and stains all over, as there should be and not interfering with the readability of the doodles. Graphite on papered reverse of hardboard cover.
