I found these fabulous homemade hummingbird lures at an antique shop in Maine. I would not have known their purpose had it not been explained to me by the owner of this shop, but then, of course! I love that they are absolutely as simple as could be, with two dots for eyes and one single line on either side of the body to suggest wings. But best of all are the long red beaks. The super long stick makes them great for sticking into a potted plant--ideally near a window where they might then do their job as hummingbird magnets!
They measure 3" long x 3/4" wide, and the stick is 13 inches long. Please specify with your order whether you prefer the red or the orange.
