I found this small carved duck in Pennsylvania, and it appears to be quite an old one, in original white paint. Somewhere along with way endured a fire, resulting in a dramatically charred flip side. A bit tragic perhaps, for what a beautifully carved little duck, which appears to have been signed on the underside (now very faint), but I love the sort of dual natured drama of it as a result.
3 7/8" l x 1 5/8" w x 1 7/8" t. Very blackened on one side as pictured which makes it quite a dramatic little thing. Stable and not fragile.
