With an opening just over 3" x 5", this lovely inlaid frame would be great for many things--though it is pretty nice with a mirror in it too, as is the case now. Beautifully crafted, to my eye its holds folky and refined in perfect balance, fully both at once.
Overall dimsensions: 8 13/16" x 6 3/4". I believe at least the darker wood is walnut. Excellent vintage condition, 1920s-40s I would guess. Currently it is fitted with a mirror with glued card backing and wire hook. Easy to replace as desired.
