A Fine Morning Sister, Poignant Early 1800s Canary Yellow Extra Small Child's Mug

I found this one in Maine a couple of days after Biden relinquished the nomination and made his endorsement of Harris. Feeling excited about the possibility of a woman president, finally, and heartened by a sense of tides turning toward a more optimistic vision for the future, this struck me as just the right thing: A Fine Morning Sister, indeed! And so too am I happily reminded of the power of objects to speak across time--this tiny canary yellow child's mug, c. 1810s, arriving in 2024 as just the right thing to capture the moment! (And feeling like a ray of sunshine as it does.) 

1 7/8" t x 1 3/4" d x 2 7/16 across at handle. One chip to the interior of the lip, as documented, otherwise very good condition.
