Quite an expressive and soulful face on this hand-sculpted vessel, which I take for a planter, but could certainly function as a vase - or a lid-less cookie jar! Signed what looks like CM on the underside and dated 1975. He looks both empathetic and empathizing to me, like a poet--or perhaps a therapist! This one also with many others today from the estate of an artist in Rockport, MA.
7 1/4" t x 7 5/8" w x 8 1/4" deep. Very good condition.
