I purchased both this one and the heart shaped love token paperweight I am listing next from a South Carolina based dealer at Brimfield who has been the course of a series of excellent things. This iron crocodile, with metal file of a body, I presume was made by a metalworker as a whimsy of sorts--akin to a blacksmith's snake. It definitely has some age to it, with some rust showing on those wonderful teeth, especially. Very nicely done, imparting this croc with a certain elegance, but its quite a fun and friendly feeling one, too!
12 1/16" l x 2 9/16" w x 2 1/4" t and in very good condition.
