Flurry of Chickens, Beautiful Old Snaphot Photo

Though with face is pretty much entirely obfuscated by the flurry, looks to me like the human here is holding a bucket of feed, and likely has some in their cupped and extended hand too. Having spent a couple of years on a farm feeding chickens and other farm animals (goats are the craziest!), I think there is really nothing else quite like that moment of arriving with food for the flock--for me, always a heart-racing mix of panic and pleasure as one is swarmed. But this young person looks much more at ease and in control, with those chickens eating right of his hand. A beauty of an image I think, and feels like a metaphor too.
