A few losses to this antique carved marble folk art book, but really a nice one, of a good scale, heavy and substantial in hand, with recessed, gold painted pages, and carved, gold painted details on the spine. With a bold capital lettered monogram, C.B. carved deeply into the face.(I love those square periods, especially.) Found in Pennsylvania.
4 3/8" x 3 1/4" x 1 3/16". Loss to one front and one back corner, as if often read! And with some roughness to the spine. Still, lovely, and I can't get enough of these.
