Such a cheerful and charming needlepoint, done by a Beth Podlaha in 1939, who signed her name proudly at lower right, and who I think I would have liked quite a bit--what a joyful profusion of flowers! I really love the face off occurring between the black Scottie and much smaller black cat, too, the latter seeming very protective of the flower bed upon which it is perched. And a happy house with checkerboard path, too.
11 1/4" x 9 7/8" and in very good condition, stitched to a cardboard backing that is quite beautiful in its own way too.
