One of my favorite things found on my trip to PA. I know there are those out there all about Halloween; I am very much not one of them! But I find this pumpkin, and especially this face with pointy ears, just about the best things ever--and I've never seen a better shade of orange. Made of chalkware/plaster, I believe this was a mold, I would guess for candy or chocolate or similar, though how it wound up orange I'm not sure--the color has definitely been on it a long time. I can't quite explain it, it is just SO GOOD and every time I look at it I love it even more.
