I really love a polaroid photo that both exalts and transcends its nature as a Polaroid. Here the horizontal orientation is just right, with the wider left border and narrow one below making the figure with spread arms, shot from a bit below, seem all the more as if perched high on a ledge, about to either plummet or take flight. With just the end of the day's light behind him, casting him in silhouette and making for a dramatic and very filmic sort of image. A young man on the precipice.
