Oh, what a beautiful brush this one is! Just a gorgeous thing, with grayish horsehair bristles attached to blonde, varnished wood ferrule, which has a great angular shape, and then a turned and threaded handle. The perfect addition to a collection of wonderful old brushes--or just a lovely object to set somewhere or hang on the wall.
The brush measures 10 1/2" long and 4 1/2" wide overall. The ferrule (the wooden part to which the bristles are attached) is 4" wide and 1 1/2" deep. The handle measures about 6" long and 1 1/8" in diameter at widest. It is in very good vintage condition, with light wear to the wood as documented.
