Photos don't really capture the full character or color on this old handmade frame with its original square bevelled glass mirror, but I think it's really a beauty. The paint/stain is a dark, sort of oxblood red and the mirror perfectly distressed from age but still reflective. Nothing on it ever touched I don't believe, with crusty accumulation in the corners. Found in New Hampshire and of New England I'm sure.
Just shy of 8” x 8” x 3/8. Perfectly aged condition, structurally sound and sturdy, with what I believe is its original cardboard backing. With a piece of string tied around an old bent nail for hanging.
