How nice to throw this lovely pair of antique French Traveler’s clothes brushes into one's suitcase atop a pile of carefully folded clothes when setting off on a long trip! And how much more civilized to use these to brush lint (and dog hair!) off those clothes than one of those cheap plastic rollers that invariably fall apart and always exasperate me! Dating from the 1910s and made of bakelite and natural bristles, they fit nicely into slots on either side of their long, thin leather case. Of course they are so beautiful that they are also perfectly wonderful just to keep at home, perhaps set on a vanity or dressing table, where they can be appreciated every day.
These are in very good used vintage condition, with one spot of wear on the leather case, as pictured. Brushes each measure 8" long x 2 1/2" tall, case measures 8 3/8" x 2 3/4" x 1/2."
