The graphics and slogans on some of these old Victorian era trade cards can make them pretty hard to resist, and I also enjoy that so many of those one finds are from companies in my neck of the woods here in New England. I recently picked up a handful I am listing individually, which I think make nice stocking stuffers matched to the personalities and predilections of loved ones. I really love the little girl on this one, whose red lips make it appear that she's had some pudding already; perfect for someone who wants it all! Great text on the back, noting the "scrupulous care" invested in preparation from the choicest materials. (And average daily sales last season of 13 tons!)
Late 19th century and in good condition. 4 1/8"" x 2 3/4". A little wear/staining along the left side, minor, and old wear/glue on corners of text side.
